Waste/Recycling Service Delayed by One Day for Remainder of Week Following Independence Day
Inland Empire, June 28, 2006 – Waste Management of the Inland Empire’s trash and recycling pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day in the days after the 4th of July, in observance of Independence Day. Those who receive service on Monday will not experience any delays.
Customers in the following areas should place their bins out for pick-up one day later than usual, beginning July 5 through July 8:
- Murrieta
- Moreno Valley
- Banning
- Beaumont
- Corona
- Norco
- Grand Terrace
- Loma Linda
- Chino
- Rancho Cucamonga
- Unincorporated Riverside County
- Unincorporated San Bernardino County
“Customers who usually receive service on Tuesday will instead receive it Wednesday, and so on throughout the remainder of the week, with Friday’s customers receiving service on Saturday. Those with Monday service will be unaffected by the holiday,” said Alex Braicovich, Director of Government Affairs. “We appreciate our customers’ cooperation with the holiday schedule so that all of our employees can observe Independence Day.”
All Waste Management of the Inland Empire operations will be closed on July 4 – the hauling operations, customer service center, transfer station and landfill will re-open for normal operations on Wednesday, July 5.
