Many-stemmed Dudleya (Dudleya multicaulis)

Status:
No federal listings status, California Native Plant Society List 1B species, El Sobrante Covered Species.

Habitat:
Grows from an underground corm (bulb) in clay soils around rock outcrops in chaparral, coastal sage scrub, and grasslands.

Range:
Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.

Threats:
Urbanization, road development, grazing, and recreation.

Population at El Sobrante:
There are between 30,000 and 60,000 plants in the Preserve.
