No federal listings status, California Department of Fish and Game Species of Special Concern, El Sobrante Covered Species.

Habitat:
Coastal plains, open fields, grasslands, rangelands, and beaches.

Range:
Coastal slopes of California from Sonoma County to San Diego County, including most of the San Joaquin Valley.

Threats:
Loss of natural habitat due to urban development, convertion of agricultural lands.

Population at El Sobrante:
The exact number and distribution is unknown, but it is common in open grassland and disturbed areas.
