Helping Businesses Save Money by Dumpster Diving
Waste Management Offers Recycling Incentive to Moreno Valley Businesses

Moreno Valley, CA, October 22, 2008 - In an effort to get more Moreno Valley businesses to recycle, Waste Management of the Inland Empire is offering business owners free commercial recycling service. Those businesses that aren’t currently benefiting from Waste Management’s recycling program can get 90 days of free recycling service if they sign up by October 31, 2008.

Waste Management’s commercial recycling program offers businesses the most effective and cost efficient way to reduce its operational budget. A business can reduce its trash bill by keeping recycling items out of the trash, reducing the number of waste bins and limiting the frequency of the trash pick-ups. Waste Management’s recycling program also provides free assistance to its commercial customers to help them apply best management practices in dealing with their waste.

“Recycling is an easy way to cut down on your business’ costs. By diverting recyclable commodities from your waste stream, a business can reduce its trash bill significantly – some businesses have cut their bills by 50% or more,” said Julie Reyes, community relations manager for Waste Management of the Inland Empire.

The City of Moreno Valley encourages businesses to take advantage of Waste Management’s commercial recycling program.

“By increasing recycling, businesses can help the City reach the state’s requirement to reduce waste by 50%,” said xxx, Moreno Valley’s Public Works Director. “This is a win-win situation for a business. The good news is that less trash equals more cash for your business,” he added.

A commercial recycling information flier was mailed out to all commercial accounts this month. Any business owner interested in starting recycling service can call Julie Reyes at 909-627-0752 or email her at jmreyes@wm.com. Businesses interested in the 90 days of free service must sign up for commercial recycling service by October 31, 2008.
